We spend a lot of time learning how to program and use lessons provided by RobotC is very useful for a year long class, but it takes some time investment to learn. It provides a good programming foundation and is quite useful. RobotC is a procedural programming language based on C. RobotC is the programming language we use in the classroom and in FIRST FTC competition. For more information, see the link below. It is the platform required for FTC competition. Then, TETRIX provides aluminum components along with larger motors, servos and a more powerful battery to let you build a bigger and more capable robot. It uses a combination of the “brain” from the Lego NXT kit along with other parts in the Lego kit.

We use this in conjunction with RobotC software in our classroom and for competition in FIRST FTC. It’s also used in USFIRST’s FTC competition. It really opens up possibilities and allows you to build bigger and more capable robots. Simply put, it takes the Lego “brain” and pairs it with metal. Once he receives your badges, you have completed this part of your virtual programming training.Tetrix robotics is an exciting way to expand upon LEGO robotics. When you have earned all three badges, click on "badges" within the RVW curriculum companion. If you complete that, you will earn badge #3. If you complete that, move on to Sentry Simulation 1. Make sure you are logged in! If you complete this, you will earn Badge #2. Now move on to "Labyrinth Challenge" in the robots virtual worlds.
